My Story
With over 25 years of experience in nonprofit advocacy and healthcare, I am deeply committed to creating positive change for underserved and underrepresented communities. My career began in the healthcare sector, where I worked with a diverse range of patients, providing care and fostering well-being. This foundation shaped my dedication toward nonprofit work across various states, including Virginia, Georgia, New Jersey, Michigan, Texas and California.

Throughout my journey, I have championed causes ranging from domestic violence advocacy to nature conservancy, leveraging my expertise to drive impactful initiatives. Guided by a passion for equity and empowerment, I strive to ensure every individual is treated with dignity, love and support, while contributing to transformative change within the communities served.

I have served in several leadership roles, such as Vice President of Fundraising Strategies, showcasing my ability to mobilize resources and drive organizational growth. Additionally, I hold a bachelor’s degree in biomedical health science and am a Medi-Cal Certified Peer Support Specialist and Community Health Worker. Currently, I am pursuing a Professional Certificate in Project Management at San Diego State’s Global Campus, further enhancing my ability to lead transformative projects.
